Eliana is a proud WISDOM alumna currently finishing her BSc in Biochemistry, with a minor in Christian Theology, at the University of Alberta. She is delighted to have the opportunity to return to WISDOM as a tutor and encourage a love of learning in the next generation of homeschoolers.
An aspiring renaissance woman, Eliana has spent the past several years tutoring and working as a teaching assistant across the sciences and arts. Whether she is discussing Augustine or astronomy, she has seen the fruit of the Socratic method firsthand in a wide variety of subjects. She especially enjoys helping students take ownership of their knowledge through inquiry and discussion, moving beyond memorization toward deeper understanding.
When Eliana isn’t trapped in a lab or poring over papers, you will likely find her writing a story, working on projects at her family’s farm, backpacking through the Rockies, or maybe, just maybe, sneaking away to catch a few waves on the coast.
